HB 1474
HB 1474 was heard on Thursday, March 3rd during the House Floor evening session and passed! Thank you to Rep. Taylor, Rep. Chopp, Rep. Peterson, and Rep. Alvarado for their inspiring words in support of the bill. We are almost there!

HB 1110 - Middle Housing
New analysis from the Puget Sound Regional Council found that HB 1110 creates net new development capacity for 2.3 million homes, with an expected 206,000 additional homes built over the next 20 years. This bill recently passed out of the House Appropriations Committee, 25-5, with modest amendments. It is now in the Rules Committee and needs to be voted on the House Floor by March 8.

Affordable Housing Support
If you are a Pierce County resident please sign on to this letter from WLIHA encouraging the Pierce County Council to pass a local housing revenue (1/10 of 1% sales tax) dedicated for affordable housing. The Council will vote on March 21st.
